Individualized Wellness Care for All Pets

Kitten Playing with Pen

Routine wellness care is important to your pet’s health and happiness. At Mobile Vet M.D., we offer comprehensive preventive services for cats and dogs right at your doorstep. Our goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality care in an environment that is comfortable and stress-free.

Physical exams

Examinations help Dr. Kwacz gain an overall picture of your pet’s health and track his or her wellness over time. We complete a thorough “nose-to-tail” exam, where we watch your pet’s behavior and look for signs of illness of injury. Depending on your pet’s age or the results of the exam, we may recommend additional testing, such as bloodwork or diagnostic imaging.

Vaccinations

Protecting your pet from serious illness is essential to his or her well-being. Our mobile clinic offers a wide range of vaccinations for cats and dogs, all at your doorstep.

For dogs, we offer:

Chihuahua Mother with Pups
  • Canine adenovirus (CAV)
  • Canine bordetella
  • Canine parvovirus (CPV)
  • Canine distemper Virus (CDV)
  • Canine leptospira
  • Canine rabies
  • Lyme disease

For cats, we offer:

Gray Kitten
  • Feline calicivirus (FCV)
  • Feline herpesvirus 1 (FHV1)
  • Feline panleukopenia Virus (FPV)
  • Feline rabies

Our veterinary team is happy to order specific vaccinations that are not routinely stocked in our mobile unit. Contact us today to learn more about our vaccine selection or to request a vaccination order.

Parasite prevention

Protecting pets against harmful pests keeps them both happy and healthy. Parasites can cause serious illness in cats and dogs, and some of those illnesses can be transmitted to humans.

At Mobile Vet M.D., we understand the importance of parasite prevention for every pet.

During your pet’s wellness visit, we provide the following:

  • Education on how to safeguard your pet and your home from pests
  • Personalized recommendations for medications or treatments
  • Heartwork and fecal sample testing for pest-related diseases

X-rays and lab work

Diagnostic tests, such as x-rays or bloodwork, give Dr. Kwacz a complete picture of your pet’s health. These tests go beyond a physical examination, providing information about your pet’s bones, organs, tissues, and blood. Diagnostic tests are especially important for senior pets because they can identify early stages of disease, which can often be managed effectively with medications or other treatments.

At Mobile Vet M.D., we offer diagnostic x-rays and laboratory testing right at your doorstep. Our mobile unit is equipped with the latest technology, and we are able to provide instant diagnostic information for many routine illness or conditions.

Microchipping

Dog Ready to Jump in the Water

At Mobile Vet M.D., we offer microchipping, which helps you locate your pet quickly if he or she becomes lost. Microchipping is a quick and relatively pain-free procedure, during which a small scannable chip is placed under your pet’s skin. This chip contains important information about you and your pet, such as names and addresses, and can be scanned by shelters and animal hospitals around the country.

Our clinic uses HomeAgain® microchipping, which offers instant registration for you and your pet. To learn more, please see the following interview with Dr. Kwacz.

We are always happy to answer questions. Contact us today to learn more about our wellness care services or to schedule an appointment.
