Compassionate Dental Care at Your Doorstep

Boston Terrier Eating

Dental care is essential to your pet’s overall wellness. Keeping your pet’s teeth clean prevents bacteria build-up, protecting your pet against tooth decay and gum disease. Regular dental care also safeguards your pet from other major illnesses that can be caused by bacteria in the mouth.

AtMobile Vet M.D., we provide caring dental care right at your doorstep. Our goal is to provide compassionate care in a relaxed, stress-free environment.

Our dental services include:

  • Examinations
  • Cleanings
  • Tooth extractions
  • Oral growth removal
  • Home dental care education

What to expect

At Mobile Vet M.D., we want your pet to be as comfortable as possible during his or her dental procedure, which is why all procedures are performed under anesthesia in our state-of-the-art mobile clinic.

Before the dental procedure

Our dental procedures are highly comprehensive and involve multiple steps to ensure your pet receives the very best care. Before every dental procedure, we provide the following for you and your pet:

  • Education about the dental procedure
  • Administration of customized anesthesia and pain medication
During the dental procedure

While your pet is under anesthesia, we evaluate your pet’s oral cavity, clean his or her teeth, and treat dental or oral conditions if needed. Each dental procedure includes:

  • Dental examination, which involves thorough probing of each tooth and evaluation of the mouth and gums
  • Dental cleaning, which entails polishing each tooth individually and removing tartar build-up
  • Tooth extractions or growth removal, if needed

Your pet’s safety and comfort are our highest priority during the procedure. We always monitor pets while they are under anesthesia to ensure there are no complications.

After the dental procedure

Good dental care doesn’t end with the procedure. At Mobile Vet M.D., we provide you with information about the procedure, as well as recommendations for a home dental care program. Home dental care education may include:

  • Instruction on how to brush your pet’s teeth
  • Suggestions on dental care products
  • Information on the benefits of dental care for pets

Our veterinary practice is here for you and your animal companion. Contact us today to learn more about our dental care services or to schedule an appointment.

“Mobile Vet MD came to my house and, in their mobile van, did a physical exam of my 2 8-year-old cats. Dr. Mary Kwacz and her assistant Lisa were gentle hands on my very scared girls! All in all, a low-stress visit with the vet. I look forward to working with them again!”
